Posted

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Ulster County (CCEUC) is hosting the 22nd Annual 4-H Golf Classic on Thursday, May 20, at Apple Greens Golf Course in Highland. Each year, this popular and enjoyable fundraiser brings together over 50 supporters, sponsors and players from local businesses for a shared experience in a beautiful setting. The $100 entry fee includes 18 holes of golf with a cart, continental breakfast, and lunch. Registration and continental breakfast will be at 7:30 a.m. and shotgun start at 9 a.m. All proceeds from this event support the Ulster County 4-H Youth Development Program. Join us for a great day of golf surrounded by the panoramic views of Mohonk Mountain and the Shawangunks!

We are excited to announce that Begnal Motors will once again be sponsoring our hole-in-one vehicle prize! Thank you to our Major Sponsors: Sickler, Torchia, Allen, & Churchill, CPA’s, PC, the Kingston Plaza and Herzog’s Home and Paint  Center; and to our Tee Sponsors: Ulster Savings Bank, the Lezette Express Inc., Crist Bros Orchards, Hurley Veterinary Hospital, and Jim DeMaio State Farm Insurance.

Ulster County 4-H Youth Development reaches youth through clubs, after-school programs, field trips and workshops spanning a wide spectrum of interests such as STEM, Civic Engagement, Animal Science and much more! 4-H programs help youth to develop valuable citizenship and life skills while encouraging them to practice service to others. These learned values help to develop leaders and independent thinkers.

This year, due to congregation restrictions with COVID, we will not be hosting the awards ceremony. Instead, we will notify the tournament winners after the event and mail prizes to the winning teams.
