The Roxbury Arts Group will welcome young adventurers to set out for adventure camp during spring break. Those attending will explore fantastical and unknown worlds using imagination, storytelling and improvisation during role playing camp at Headwaters Arts Center, 66 Main Street, Stamford, from April 1 – 5. Two daily sessions: Session I for ages 7 – 11 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m., or Session II for ages 12 – 15, from 12:30 – 3:30 p.m. The suggested registration fee for either session is $25 and includes enchanted dice and other magical items and materials required to participate in epic quests.

Role-playing games (RPG) have grown in popularity over the years, and now the shared storytelling connect people across the globe. This camp will introduce the basics of RPGs to campers to give them the skills and knowledge to join future campaigns.

Led by lifelong role-playing gamer Doug Idleman, participants will exercise their imaginations. Campers will create their own heroes and brave their way through mystical worlds, find magical items and artifacts, witness wonders and battle enemies. Working collaboratively, attendees will dive deep into danger, forge our own enchanted bags of holding and cast spells of power to transform our characters from stat sheets into full color portraits, worthy of their heroic deeds.

Space is limited and the need for heroes is nigh - register now to help save the known world.

Registration and additional information is available at roxburyartsgroup.org or by calling 607-214-6040.
